Are you our next Engineer II-Electrical Reliability?
We are currently seeking an Engineer II-Electrical Reliability for our South Fort Meade, Florida Mine located at 5880 Manley Road, Fort Meade, FL 33841. The Engineer II-Electrical Reliability will identify, design and implement reliability improvements focused on increased equipment availability and reduced life cycle cost. Work closely with Operations, Maintenance Supervisors and Craftsmen to provide technical support and improve their reliability skill sets.
What will you do?
  • Identify reliability opportunities, design improvements and oversee implementation in coordination with Operations & Maintenance personnel.
  • Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) reviews of critical or unreliable equipment. Facilitate Root Cause Failure analysis exercises.
  • Monitor production area lubrication practices. Support Craftsman skills training and development.
  • Review Management of Change (MOC)’s and capital projects for reliability improvement opportunities.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
What do you need for this role?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2-5 years industry experience required. Experience in a concentrates/minerals plant with experience leading teams while working in operations and maintenance is desired.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and understand the interrelations within an industrial facility.
  • MS Word, Excel, CMMS, Scheduling tools, MS project, MS access.
  • Position requires adaptable leadership skills and styles to get results through others. Influential leadership and strong communication skills are a necessity. Organizational skills in a fast paced / high stress environment are required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
