American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE)-New Student Organization

Hi EE Majors!!!

If you are interested in a career within the energy sector including utilities, renewable energy and public policy there is a great opportunity awaiting you. If you are also interested in being part of the founding membership/leadership of a new student organization at the University of Florida, this is an ideal avenue through which to do so.

The Gator Chapter is specifically tailored to students interested in acquiring in-depth knowledge on renewable energy technology research and development. Our meetings consist of technical talks by professors, graduate students and industry professionals on various topics including solar thermochemistry, fuel cells and renewable hybrid power systems. Internship opportunities with companies such as Siemens, Nextera Energy, Duke Energy and Gainesville Regional Utilities are also available.

If you are interested please contact me at aabe.uf.president@gmail.com  in order to be added to our listserv and join our Facebook group through the link below for updates on upcoming events.
