Gator Amateur Radio Club will be hosting an Introduction to Amateur Radio night on Thursday, September 22nd, 2016

The Gator Amateur Radio Club will be hosting an Introduction to Amateur Radio night on Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 for those interested in learning more about amateur radio. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about RF communications and experimentation. Amateur Radio has changed a lot over the years. Our activities include world-wide communications on HF, local communications via FM and a TDMA digital mode, and even satellite communications to the ISS!

On September 24th, 2016 we will be hosting an Amateur Radio Technician Licensing Class and FCC testing session. We will cover all the material on the FCC Amatuer Radio Technician's exam. The class runs from 8:30 am until 3 pm. The testing session begins at 3 pm.

Please see the flyers attached if you are interested in either opportunity! If you have any quesitons, please contact andy@gatorradio.org.
