Ranked as the No. 14 public school in the nation, the University of Florida (Top College No. 83) is a research university founded in 1853 and located in Gainesville, FL. The school offers more than 100 undergraduate majors and nearly 200 graduate programs. It is home to 16 academic colleges and has over 200 research, service and education centers, bureaus and institutes.
