The LIST laboratory (http://www.list.ufl.edu) is looking for highly motivated masters or undergraduate students to work on IP telecommunications projects.
Ideal
candidates will: (1) have good computer programming skills; (2)
be able to work independently to solve problems; (3) have
background on computer networks; (4)
be proficient in or motivated to learn the Linux environment
(5) have excellent writing skills.
We are building a GatorTekecom
system
For voice video data and text that will serve office home and mobile
applications
We will need to use
Virtual computing
Database systems
Mobile Apps for all platforms
Familiarity with Kamailio, FreeSWITCH, Alpine Linux, VoIP, SIP etc are a plus.
