Greetings
from your advisor, Nicole Young!
Advance
Registration for BOTH Summer 2015 and Fall 2015 will begin March 23, so
it is time to schedule an appointment to clear your advising hold(s) and
discuss your upcoming schedule for the next semester(s). The schedule of
courses is available to view for all students at www.registrar.ufl.edu/soc. Please review the course listings before you arrive for your appointment,
and please review your degree
audit to confirm what remaining courses you have to complete for the Electrical
Engineering degree.
I will be seeing students by your class classification (6EG, 5EG, 4EG,
3EG, 2EG,) beginning MARCH 6TH. For post-bac students, you will be seen with the 5 and 6
EG’s (starting March 4). For
students currently studying abroad, AIM students and HONORS students,
please send an email directly to undergradadvising@ece.ufl.edu for assistance. Your advising may be conducted
differently.
FIRST YEAR STUDENTS:
If you are a first year student (a non-transfer student that started
your first semester at UF in Summer 2014, Fall 2014, or Spring 2015), please
disregard these instructions. You must see the First Year Advising team in Weil
204.

For students that are

graduation check during your scheduled appointment.
Instructions
for scheduling an appointment – please read entirely!
Appointments will be available Monday through Friday from 10AM-12PM and
1PM-4PM. Appointments will last approximately 20 minutes and will take place in
230 Larsen Hall. I respectfully ask that you arrive at least 5 minutes early in
case the appointment before you ends early. Advance registration is a busy
time; please understand that if you are more than 5 minutes late to your
appointment you run the risk of being asked to reschedule for another date/time.
Please refer to the schedule above to see when you can schedule your
registration appointment. Students that schedule an appointment earlier than
outlined above will have their appointment cancelled and will need to
reschedule. During this appointment, we will remove any holds on your record as
well as discuss your plans for both the Summer 2015 and Fall 2015 semesters.
Below are screen shots of the each step to schedule an advance
registration appointment.

3. Log into the system
using your GATORLINK USERNAME AND PASSWORD (the same information you use to
access ISIS).
4. Select an open time
slot with me for your
appointment. Allison and I are both listed on the system – be sure to select my

can use the green arrows at the bottom of the screen to toggle between weeks.
If I am unavailable, it will be blocked off on the calendar.
5. When you hover over

selected your time and date of your appointment, you will be asked to complete
three fields with information.
A. For “Title of Reservation,” please type in
“Registration Appointment.”
B. For “Description of Reservation,” please type in your

C. For “Additional Comments for Advisor,” please include
any topics or concerns that you feel are the most important to be covered
during your appointment.
D. Please attach a

an idea of your plans for the next semester(s).
E. Click “Create” to save your appointment.
**You MUST see a pop-up window with a reference
number as confirmation that your appointment was created. An email notification
of your appointment will be emailed to the advising staff.**
If you experience
difficulties in scheduling your appointment, please feel free to contact me at undergradadvising@ece.ufl.edu for assistance. Appointments will NOT be scheduled via email, phone, or
in-person; only through the link, https://www.ece.ufl.edu/advisors/.
I look forward to
meeting with each of you!
